I love chocolates and I love mochi. One night, I thought of trying some pinterest recipes that will allow me to whip up something quick, devoid of burning our kitchen down. Then I found this Chocolate Mochi Mug Cake recipe. To my husband’s surprise, it was a wow! I immediately skyped my mother to brag that I can now bake. Well, sort of.
This is for my Mom and for my sister.

1 Minute Chocolate Mochi Cake
- 2 tablespoons mochiko (also called sweet rice flour or glutinous rice flour)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- ½ tablespoon cocoa powder
- ⅛ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Optional: milk chocolate morsels
Combine ingredients in a microwable mug, adding the chocolate morsels as the last. In my case, I used a creme brulee dish.
Cook in a microwave for 1 minute. However, I prefer adding 20 more seconds.
And that is it! Enjoy :)
