A Tale of Two Lovers, Five States and Nine Days

03 Sep

On our way to Michigan from North Carolina and back, my hubby and I decided to do a little adventure and travelled through the countryside living up to the adage that it is not the destination but the journey that matters. We kicked off in North Carolina and we thought of getting rid of freeways as possibly as we can and passed by streams and drove through forests in Virginia, cornfields, old barns and morning fog in Kentucky, teased and laughed when I felt strange sensations as hubby flew the car through the steep hills in Ohio, and arrived in Michigan waiting for more adventures to commence.  It is one of my favorite travels ever! Hubby and I discovered ourselves better, indulged in conversations and chuckled as best friends. Truly, everything felt magical, time stopped and flew unnoticed, heart beat faster and slower at the same time. Times like these, I am not only thankful I am alive but more grateful to have someone special to share life with.

This is a tale of two lovers who stretched five states in nine days.
